Attention is a signal,
not a character judgment.
AttentionTelemetry helps you understand the attention you report and use it to choose realistic next steps. Focus varies with sleep, stress, task type, interruptions, recovery, environment, and workload.
Manual, private, explainable
You choose what to log. The current release stores one workspace in your browser and never sends your notes to an AI provider. No keystroke, mouse, screen, wearable, or background tracking is included.
Scores with clear boundaries
Focus scores combine your self-rated focus (35%), energy (20%), inverse load (20%), inverse distraction (15%), and inverse interruption/context-switch burden (10%). Load and recovery rules are documented in the project README. These are design heuristics, not validated measures of cognitive ability.
Patterns need evidence
Two-hour windows group observations in your current browser timezone. Fewer than five distinct days remain tentative. Observed associations do not establish cause or guarantee future attention.
A little room for uncertainty
Scores are based on self-reported check-ins and session logs. Use them as planning signals, not fixed facts.
AttentionTelemetry is a planning and reflection aid. It is not a medical, diagnostic, therapy, or neurotherapy tool.
AttentionTelemetry does not guarantee focus, productivity, or deep-work outcomes.
Persistent distress, severe impairment, sleep disruption, or safety concerns may require support beyond a productivity tool.
